This Privacy Policy explains how information may be handled when you use Magnetide (the “Game”). By using the Game, you acknowledge the practices described below.
Information We May Process
The Game stores gameplay progress and settings locally on your device. The Game itself does not require you to create an account or directly provide your name, address, or phone number.
To operate advertising, security, anti-fraud, diagnostics, and related services, the Game and its service providers may process information such as:
- Device and app information, including device model, operating system, app version, language, and approximate region;
- Identifiers, including advertising or device-related identifiers where permitted;
- Advertising interactions, gameplay events, session information, and usage data;
- IP address, network information, crash data, diagnostics, and security signals.
Advertising and Tracking Permission
Magnetide contains advertising. Where required by iOS, the Game may ask for permission before accessing data used to track activity across other companies’ apps or websites. You may deny this request. Ads may still be displayed, but they may be less personalized. You can change tracking permissions in your device settings.
How Information Is Used
- To provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Game;
- To save gameplay preferences and progress;
- To load, measure, and display advertisements;
- To detect fraud, abuse, security threats, and technical failures;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.
Third-Party Services
The Game may use third-party advertising and technology providers, including Chartboost, Yandex Mobile Ads, Liftoff Monetize (formerly Vungle), InMobi, and security or anti-abuse services. These providers may process information under their own privacy policies and act independently in determining some of their data practices.
Data Sharing and Retention
Information may be disclosed to service providers that support advertising, analytics, security, diagnostics, hosting, and legal compliance. We do not sell personal information directly. Third-party providers retain information according to their own policies and legal requirements. Local gameplay data remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the Game, subject to device backup behavior.
Your Choices and Rights
You may manage tracking permission in iOS Settings, limit ad personalization through device controls where available, and remove locally stored Game data by deleting the app. Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection regarding personal information. Contact us to submit a request. We may need sufficient information to verify and process it.
Children’s Privacy
The Game is not directed to children below the minimum age required to consent to personal-data processing in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly request personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.
Security and International Processing
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect information, but no electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Game, service providers, or legal requirements change. The revised effective date will appear at the top of this page.
